Check out the all-new GTEC Unconference
What is an Unconference? The Wikipedia definition says an unconference is a facilitated, participant-driven conference centered around a theme or purpose. The term "unconference" has been applied, or self-applied, to a wide range of gatherings that try to avoid one or more aspects of a conventional conference, such as high fees and sponsored presentations. The UnConference at GTEC GTEC is embracing today's Web 2.0 thinking and trends. One of those trends is towards "UnConferences" where participants play a greater role in the agenda, topics and direction of the sessions. GTEC is working with two premier professional services firms, Intersol and KPMG on UnConference programs, based on UnConferences that are regularly held at our sister event, INTEROP. The sessions will be lead by capable facilitators, and the suggested agendas for these sessions will be posted soon on the GTEC web site. Best of all, these sessions are complimentary and open to any GTEC attendee. Stay tuned for more information on the topics and format of the UnConference programs!
