The GTEC Conference truly is Canada's Government Technology Event. It is a highly anticipated educational forum that attracts the vanguard of IT decision makers across governments at all levels. The 2009 program will once again consist of a 4 day format to include the CIO Boot Camp and Executive Roundtables on Monday followed by the official Conference opening on Tuesday.

We are in the midst of a multi-year effort to address the emergence of Web 2.0 technologies, transformation, and citizen-centered services under the banner of "Government 2.0". Our program continues to include top-level keynotes as well as a blend of traditional "information technology" and information management content that is not restricted to only theoretical concepts.
