CloudCamp
October 7, 2009 - 4-7PM Cloud Camp will be held at GTEC for an estimated 150 people who are interested in cloud computing. This is an open (free) event, moderated by the CCIF, where early adopters of Cloud Computing can exchange ideas. Participants share their ideas in open discussions where all are encouraged to participate. Register for a free expo pass and mark your calendar for CloudCamp at GTEC! One of the keys to CloudCamp's success has been its innovative format, which was originally based on the Open Spaces format from FooCamp in 2004 and then again at MashupCamp1 in 2006 . CloudCamp was started as a pure Open Spaces format and has evolved to include additional formats as each successive "Camp" has been held in cities around the world. Of course, there is A LOT more to a successful event than the format, but by working to improve CloudCamp over time, we've come up with something more than an average event. About the event Moderator -- Reuven Cohen Recently selected by MIT as one of the top 10 figures in Cloud Computing, Reuven is a trusted advisor to client executives with strong team leadership, interpersonal and business skills gained at the technical development and ownership level. Extremely knowledgeable in all facets of emerging enterprise technologies, Reuven was awarded the 2006 FITC Canadian Software Developer of the Year, and sits on the board of Advisors at Seneca-York University.
