The Situational CIO -- Part One

The framework for this session is based on a PwC research "The Situational CIO" which advocates that CIOs need to be proficient in three key areas: IT Operations, Sourcing & Orchestration and Strategy. The three guest CIOs will share their insights based on their years of experience in the role of a CIO.

The Situational CIO -- Part Two

Three guest CIOs will share their list for the five top lessons learned in each of the areas from the Situational CIO: IT Operations, Sourcing and Strategy.

Leadership and Change

At the end of this session, participants will have a better understanding of what leadership is and have an enhanced appreciation of the importance of self-awareness to maximize ones leadership potential.

The session will help to demystify what leadership is, how people learn leadership and what is the foundation of all leadership development interventions. Using the Change Style Indicator instrument participants will, by enhancing their understanding of their own and other people preferences in dealing with change, help them improve team performance through leadership.

Striking a Balance for the Right Results

As you leave the CIO Boot Camp, this session will wrap up the themes of the day, providing you with information related to your role as an IT leader, focusing on meeting the challenges and priorities facing IT/IM leaders in government.
