How do I register for GTEC 2008?
There are four easy ways to register for GTEC 2008:

1. Online - Register online to pay by credit using our secure online registration system.
2. Fax - To pay by credit card and register by fax, download a registration form (PDF format) and fax the completed form and credit card information to 801-932-1713.
3. Phone - Call us toll-free at 888-304-6791 to register by phone. Outside Canada and the United States, please call 801-932-1710. The GTEC 2007 Call Centre is open Monday - Friday, 10:00 am to 8:00 pm EST (7:00 am to 5:00 pm PST).
4. Mail - To register by mail, download the registration form (PDF format). Mail your completed registration form, including payment, to: GTEC 2008

What are the dates for GTEC 2008?
GTEC 2008 begins on Monday, October 27 and runs through Thursday, October 30th

Yes. Register early to save up to $250 on conference packages with early and advance registration discounts.

Can I attend just the Exhibition?
Yes. Choose an Exhibits Only Pass as your registration option (free for all public sector personnel, $50 plus GST for all private sector personnel). An Exhibits Only pass gives you full access to the Exhibit Hall floor, plus the free seminars and workshops program.

Can I book hotel reservations through GTEC 2008?
No. Please reserve directly with the applicable hotel. Hotel space will be limited in Ottawa in the month of October, so please book early to ensure your reservation. For your convenience we have listed hotels that are in the vicinity of the show

What does GTEC stand for?
GTEC was launched in 1993, and originally stood for the 'Government Technology Exhibition and Conference', but is now known simply as GTEC. It is comprised of three components: 1) the GTEC Exhibition, a world-class showcase of IT products, services, and solutions featuring up to 400 exhibits and demos of solutions for e-government; 2) the GTEC Conference, a four -day conference and premier learning opportunity that attracts senior speakers and delegates from around the world; and 3) the Distinction Awards Program and Gala, a celebration of innovation and leadership within the IT public sector.
